This page shows three famous paintings on the far right of the page, and three composition study works on the left of them. The three composition study works are supposed to outline different shapes that are found in each art piece, while at the same time creating an original abstract image. The top image is using variations of two complementary colors (blue and orange) , which is why grey, a complete mix of complementary colors is visable. The middle image is using triadic colors, which in this case happen to be red, green, and a reddish, purple. The bottom image is a variation of blacks, whites, and greys. To make the paintings even more abstract, a variety of lines, tints, and opacity were used when created the images. Click any of the images to see them larger! |
