White to Black Gradient Collage      
  Description:  
  You will be given a black and white photograph cut from a magazine. You are to divide the image and cut into 1/2 inch squares. Use glue stick to adhere the squares onto a sheet of white paper roughly 8.5" x 11". Analyze the value or lightness and darkness of each individual square. Rearrange the squares to create an even gradation from light to dark.
 
 
  Bring finished work to class and hang on bulletin board on Monday, June 2.
