Lake Valentine

Nate Bro and Dr. Bob Kistler were presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Rice Creek Watershed District at the January 2, 2002 Board of Managers Meeting, for collecting data for Lake Valentine during the summer of 2001 for the first time Lake Valentine was included in the Citizen Assisted Lake Monitoring Program. Nate sampled Lake Valentine almost every week (April 20 - December 2) from ice out to ice up and that was quite a feat this warm year.  Dr. Kistler has been continuing sampling of Lake Valentine for the CAMP program since 2001.
