Real Estate Survey Results: Fifteen total people were surveyed. 1. Nearly every person said that they have purchased a home in the past. 2. Most people are concerned first and foremost with the house itself, but a few were primarily concerned with the neighborhood in which the house was located. 3. Every person surveyed is willing to pay more for a house in a "better neighborhood." 4. Most people were looking for a house in the $100,001 - $249,999 price range. 5. About half the people surveyed wanted a hassle-free home, while the other half was interested in buying a home to "fix up." 6.
7. All but one person said they want a house with fewer but larger rooms. 8. Most people simply wanted to look online for options, so they all felt they had enough options open to them. 9. All said they have worked with or know people who have worked with real estate agencies; most commonly mentioned was Coldwell Banker Acclaim. 10. Every person prefers to live in the suburbs. 11. Three people said they would consider moving into a poor school district, but the rest said no. 12. The most commonly given answer was that they would consider the age of their family, but most would make the move into a different school district. 13. Only three people had previously taken online tours of homes. 14. No one said they could make a final decision based simply on a virtual tour. They would be worried that it would keep the negatives about the house hidden. |
