K-8 Science Specialty

Four Year Plan
For K-8 licensure candidates interested in a science specialty, four additional semesters of science are required in the following areas:

Life Science:

Suggested courses: Organismic, Habitat and Humanity, or other 100 level courses.

Earth/Space Science:

Suggested courses:

Astronomy or Geology

Physical Science:

Suggested courses:

General Chemistry I, Concepts in Physics, or Alchemy

Elective:

Suggested courses:

Choose from one of the three areas. (Environmental course strongly recommended.
