Road construction on I-694, Hwy 10, and Snelling Ave. will affect travel between Bethel University and areas to the north beginning October 2, 2011 and continuing through 2012.

Roads Affected

• Southbound Hamline Avenue, north of I-694 at County Rd F, will be closed for almost 2 years.
• Northbound Snelling Ave. (Hwy 51) will be closed at County Road E beginning April 2, 2012 for up to 7 months. There will be no access to I-694 or northbound Hamline Ave during this time.
• Future disruptions include the closure of the eastbound I-694 exit to southbound Snelling (Hwy 51) from summer to fall 2012. 
• The westbound exit from I-694 to north Hamline will eventually close permanently. 
• In addition to the above changes, increased traffic is expected on Old Snelling Avenue, and extra care should be taken when leaving the campus through the west entrance.
