Biography

Aune is an accomplished Business and Finance Leader, helping organizations grow through financial modeling, use of analytics, and cross functional communication and collaboration. He strives to bring people together to advance the mission and move organizations forward, while maintaining financial sustainability and growth. Most recently, Aune was CFO at HIRED, a nonprofit organization assisting unemployed individuals develop job skills and career opportunities. Previously, he has worked as a COO, CFO or in other financial capacities in various industries, including: K-12 Education, Higher Education, Legal, Media, Retail and in Public Accounting. He has particular interest in the Social, Environmental and Financial aspects of Sustainability. His goal is to help students reduce the complex accounting and finance information into a form understandable by non-finance staff, managers and governance members.
