Biography

Bethany came to Bethel first as a nursing student in 2007 and quickly realized her dream of becoming a part of the nursing faculty. After working as a staff nurse in blook and marrow transplant, she started a PhD Program at the University of Minnesota in 2010 and joined the Bethel Nursing department as faculty in 2013. She has a taught a variety of courses, including adult medical-surgical clinical, skills labs, simulation, advance care planning, introduction to healthcare, and general education courses. She has written and presented research on the use of collaborative testing and is currently working on research focused on teaching strategies that promote safe practice in undergraduate nursing students.
