The 3,000 students at the College of Arts & Science choose Bethel because they want an outstanding liberal arts education within a vibrant Christian community.
Bethel undergrads are smart, spiritually engaged, and determined to use their God-given talents to improve their corner of the world, large or small. We attract accomplished musicians and artists, championship athletes, young entrepreneurs, and gifted scientists. And more than half of incoming students graduated in the top quarter of their high school class.
Adult Undergraduate Students
The College of Adult & Professional Studies is for working adults from all age groups, experience levels, and backgrounds in the Twin Cities who want to complete their degree or start their college education. They come to Bethel to earn bachelor’s or associate degrees that will open doors to new careers and greater leadership and service opportunities.
Our busy students love the fact that classes meet during evenings and weekends at locations around the Twin Cities. Plus, they thrive in an environment that has a close-knit community feel since all students move through their classes within cohorts—small groups of students in the same program that earn their degree and graduate together.
The students enrolled in the Graduate School are here to earn advanced degrees and graduate certificates in high-growth careers like education, business administration, nursing, gerontology, counseling psychology, communication, and leadership.
Graduate students are a mix of recent college grads and mid-career professionals who choose Bethel for its solid liberal arts reputation, flexible class schedules, strong ethics, and faith-based perspective. Many students are renewed in their Christian walk, while others may encounter Christian faith for the first time in our dynamic intellectual community.
These are men and women, of all ages, who sense a calling to ministry—youth, urban, rural, cross-cultural, and a growing range of unconventional settings. They choose Bethel Seminary not only because they believe in our orthodox evangelical theology, but also for its irenic spirit—agreement on core doctrines and grace with one another on peripherals.
Seminary students are confident facing the rigors of ministry because of Bethel’s well-rounded emphases on personal faith formation, biblical/theological grounding, and leadership skills.
