Bethel Seminary is a world-class evangelical seminary offering six master of arts degrees, a master of divinity degree, a doctor of ministry, and four certificates. Accreditors have praised the seminary’s approach to developing whole and holy Christian leaders through three-part emphases on biblical/theological foundations, transformational leadership, and spiritual and personal formation. With locations in St. Paul, San Diego, and the eastern seaboard, as well as a model distance learning program, Bethel Seminary is breaking new ground in effective ministry training. (A distinctive logo maintains the traditional color used to represent theological education and will assist in gaining the seminary greater visibility.)
The College of Arts & Sciences offers 64 majors within 76 areas of study, including the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. It is world renowned for a highly credentialed faculty dedicated to teaching, integration of faith and learning, and the translation of Christian belief into global service. Two-thirds of the students participate in short-term missions or community volunteer work. The college consistently ranks among top Midwestern Universities in U.S. News & World Report’s listing of “America’s Best Colleges.”
Begun in 1989, the College of Adult & Professional Studies assists adults in completing college degrees while meeting employment, family, and community responsibilities. Undergraduate programs are offered through weekend and evening classes in high-demand fields such as business management, Christian ministries, nursing, and organizational leadership. Committed to a Christian perspective, the college also serves churches, school districts, and other organizations with beneficial seminars and professional development opportunities.
The Graduate School of Bethel University answers a burgeoning demand for advanced degrees taught and applied within a framework of Christian values. The school offers a growing choice of master’s, doctoral, certificate, and licensure programs in fields from communication and education to nursing and organizational leadership.
