Anderson Is Alumnus of Year
Clifford Anderson, Ed.D.,
was selected this spring as the 2004 Bethel Seminary 
Deserving Deanalumnus of the
year. Anderson served on the faculty of Bethel Seminary St. Paul from
1959 to 1978, when he became the first dean of Bethel Seminary
San Diego. Under his leadership from 1978 to 1995, the seminary recruited
an outstanding faculty, achieved full accreditation, completed a new
building, and welcomed an increasingly diverse student population from
across the nation and around the world. For these contributions and
more, Anderson credits God. “A great school was not the goal,” he
explains. “The goal was extending Christ’s rule on earth.”
