Heart & Mind
All couples and families benefit from support and enrichment that enable them to experience God’s intention for relational wholeness. But both inside and outside the church, marriages and families as well as individuals are often stretched to the breaking point by the stresses and complexities of everyday life. Many deal with far deeper issues of abuse, trauma, or addiction. They need support. They need resources. They need help.
Bethel Seminary aims to provide just that. Through its Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program in St. Paul, and its Marital and Family Therapy (MFT) program in San Diego, Bethel offers two of the few seminary-based training programs for Christian marriage and family therapists in existence. This critical difference in setting and curriculum allows Bethel Seminary MFT graduates to integrate the principles of Christian theology with rigorous training in clinical methodology. The counselors who graduate each year from Bethel’s MFT programs are uniquely equipped to support spiritual, emotional, and psychological healing in hurting singles, couples, and families. Help is on the way.
