Sheri Anderstrom
Manager of Constituent Relations Events
Some Bethel grads say they grew up at Bethel, but for Sheri it’s really true! Says Sheri, “I pretty much grew up around Bethel; my dad worked here for close to 40 years.”
She attended Bethel from 1979-80, started working at Bethel in 1997, and graduated from the College of Adult & Professional Studies (CAPS) program in 2008 with a B.A. in Organizational Leadership. “I had the opportunity to graduate in the same ceremony as my daughter, which was really special,” she says.
Why Sheri Loves Her Job
For Sheri, being an alum and a parent of alums, as well as being a member of a Converge church, helps her relate well to those she serves.
It’s those relationships that Sheri likes best about her job: “I enjoy connecting with alumni and parents and hearing how Bethel has impacted their lives.”
Favorite Bethel Experience
Sheri’s favorite Bethel experience came out of earning her degree through the CAPS program. “I truly enjoyed the adult learning experience. It was both challenging and rewarding!”
In Her Free Time
When not at Bethel, you’ll find Sheri spending time with her friends and family—including children Tommy ’07 and Tonya ‘08—reading, taking walks, and enjoying special moments with her granddaughter.
