It was surreal to join together for an evening to remember events that happened 10 years ago, but seem like they happened only yesterday. The class of ’95 reunion included watching a slide show of the old days, playing a “Blast from the Past” trivia game, and conversations that were full of laughter and reconnecting. It’s amazing that Homecoming 2005 has already come and gone. It was great to see those who attended weekend events. Those who couldn’t join the festivities were missed.
Here is a quick overview of the weekend festivities:
1995 Program:
The group Poor Baker’s Dozen sang for the reunion dinner, prompting us to remember when they were starting to harmonize together.
It was a great time. Many classmates commented that it was a better experience than they expected because everyone was real and the focus was on catching upnot on what we had become. Bethel brought us together years ago, and on this night we were reminded of the special friendships and experiences that molded us into who we are today.
On behalf of our committee, we wish you many blessings in the years to come and hope to catch up with even more of you in 2010 at our 15th reunion.
