This concert pairs the SPCO and the Minnesota Orchestra for a performance of Stravinsky’s ballet score The Rite of Spring. Stravinsky’s innovative composition tested the patience of the audience to the fullest at its premiere in Paris in 1913, so much that audience members caused a great riot.
