Description: Renowned violinist Christian Tetzlaff, praised by the Boston Globe for his “immensely virtuosic and deeply personal” playing, will join the SPCO for a program in which the strings shine. Tetzlaff will serve as soloist for two Mozart works and will lead from within the ensemble on Enesco’s late Romantic String Octet and Haydn’s Symphony No. 86, one of the composer’s ravishing “Paris” symphonies.
