Nadine Paitich, Bachelor of Science in Nursing student, has been named Home Care Executive for HealthEast Home Care. In this role, Paitich will improve quality of care measures, improve best practices, and address community health issues.
Nadine Paitich credits BSN program for preparing her for new tasks.
Paitich has held many roles at Healtheast, including 13 years in the Home Care division. She has worked in quality improvement, clinical services, and specialty care. In January, 2007, she became Clinical Director. In this position she oversaw financial, operational, and patient care areas.
As Home Care Executive, Paitich plans on “continuing to honor highest quality patient care by implementing our quality, employee, operational and consumer strategic plans and aligning Healtheast Home Care initiatives with the HealthEast Care System.”
The courses in Paitich’s BS in Nursing program have prepared her for this new leadership role. “I have learned…the expanded roles and opportunities for professional nurses, the importance and impact of community health nursing, and the awareness of how professional nursing plays such an important role within a business,” she said.
Paitich will commence in May, 2008 with her BS in Nursing degree and plans to continue on for her master’s degree in nursing.
