During the month of February, the Bethel University Presidential Search Committee conducted in-depth interviews with approximately 12 remaining presidential candidates. At the same time, the committee continued to actively seek out and recruit additional candidates.

Now that the current round of interviews has been completed, the committee anticipates narrowing the field to approximately four candidates for a final round of interviews, evaluation, and assessment. The committee hopes to present a candidate to the Board of Trustees at a special meeting sometime in May. If the trustees approve the candidate, it would likely, although not necessarily, set in motion a process of introducing the candidate to various Bethel constituencies, leading up to presentation of the candidate for approval at the Bethel Corporation Biennial Meeting in late June.
