When is my payment due?

Full payment is due on the start date of each course. Tuition is generated through information from the Office of the Registrar. Therefore, the student account will be billed once the student has been registered for their course(s). Students are responsible for payment reaching the St. Paul Business Office when due, regardless of the source of payment. Payment must be received in US dollars. If loans are needed to help meet a financial obligation, students may apply for them through the Office of University Financial Aid. Loan applications should be made well in advance for funds to be disbursed at the beginning of the term.

A finance charge of one percent per month will be assessed on any charges more than 30 past due. Enrollment for succeeding courses is dependent of full payment of the previous expenses.

Online Monthly Statements

Around the 17th of each month, an email will be sent to every student's Bethel email address alerting them that the Bethel University Online Monthly Statement is available to view, with access instructions. Monthly statements will not be mailed to the home address. Students are responsible to forward monthly statement information to spouses or others who are helping to pay their bill. Visit Authorized Users for further instructions.

To view Online Monthly Statements: Blink > Student Services tab > My Statement channel > click Statement and Payment History > Select Statement Bill Date > View Statement.

Employer Tuition Reimbursement

During the final week of each course, upon request made by the student, the Business Office will send "Tuition Reimbursement Billing Invoices" to the student's home address. Students may submit the invoice(s) to their employer for reimbursement.

Please contact the Business Office to request Tuition Reimbursement Billing Invoices.

The following information will be included on the invoices:

  • Student name and address
  • Student Bethel ID number
  • Course name
  • Course number
  • Number of credits
  • Beginning and ending dates of the course
  • Tuition amount
  • Stamped "PAID" provided payment for the course has been received

Veteran Administration (VA) Educational Benefits

If you need assistance in determining what military or veteran benefits you may be eligible for, you may contact Bethel's Veterans Resource Center at 651.635.8096 or email veterans-center@bethel.edu. If you qualify for GI benefits and intend to use them, you must contact the Certifying Official at Bethel University - Office of the Registrar at 651.635.8734 or 800.255.8706, ext. 8734.

Student Health Insurance

Students who are registered for one credit or more may purchase the health insurance plan made available through Bethel University. If you would like additional information, feel free to contact Health Services at 651.635.8532, or email health-insurance@bethel.edu. Mention that you are a student enrolled at College of Adult & Professional Studies or Graduate School.
