I
wanted to let you know that I was offered a job yesterday!! .... I am so
excited about this opportunity. It is so perfect in so many ways! Thank
you so much for meeting with me and giving me tips on my resume and on
networking and job searching. It was very helpful and cleared up a lot of my
frustration and confusion. I also totally appreciated the tips you gave for my
application and resume to this position. It really was helpful not only to me
understanding myself in this position more but also helping them get a clearer
picture of who I was and what I brought to the table." - email from Katie Jensen |

Thank you for all the advice and your willingness to help me out. I recently received a job offer with U.S. Energy Services. I know I got the job due to my connections through Bethel with a few current employees there. It's a testimony to networking!

The Career Services office has continually provided support for my job-search process. Through my meetings with the career counselors, I developed a clearer understanding of my strengths, passions, and notable experiences. The counselors helped me feel confident for my interviews, especially in relation to my personality and my faith. The MN Private School Job and Internship Fair was an incredibly helpful tool, and I'm grateful that the Career Services Office is dedicated to guiding students through the fair. At the fair, I met my future employer, and I couldn't be more excited about beginning my first job.
I am indebted to Career Services for their support, and I
highly recommend that students use this resource! - email from Krista Shadduck |
![]() Meghann Burton was excited to share that she will be a program developer for the Holleran Center for Community Engagement / SRYI (South Reading Youth Initiative) in Pennsylvania. This program is a competitive opportunity offered through Americorps. She shared that the Office of Career Services helped her make specific strategic connections that led her to this exciting position.” |

In all the excitement of the last week, I forgot to tell you how the interview went. The interview on Monday went very well. The ESL director and the principal said I did a great job interviewing. They called me that evening saying that I was one of the top candidates and wanted to confirm that I would accept the position if they offered it to me. This evening they called formally offering me the job (which I gladly accepted).
Thank you so
much for your help throughout this whole process! The practice interview
especially gave me the guidance and the confidence I needed. - email from Tim Leverentz |

I just wanted to thank you beyond words for all your loving support, encouragement, and wisdom. You were truly a gift during this season of transition.
I am also so happy to tell you that I have finally come to a decision. As of Monday I will be working with the Lovaas Institute as behavioral therapist for children with autism and also enrolling in one graduate course to MHP qualifications.
I feel very blessed by this opportunity and praise God for all the incredible people that supported me thus far. email from Jeana Letourneau |
