"I am emailing you to let you know how much I have appreciated your help in Career Services throughout my college career. I am ecstatic to tell you that I am currently working at CU Companies as an HR Intern (a position that you originally told me about). I also am going to begin full time work at US Bank in August in their Leadership Development Program. This job came about at the Private College Job Fair when I first introduced myself, got an interview, received a second interview, and then got the job!

Again thank you so much for all of your help. All of my past and current job opportunities have began from opportunities that were created by career services! I am very appreciative for all that you do!"

"Career Services has been very beneficial for me. During my freshmen and sophomore years of college, I took the Strong’s Interest Inventory at Career Services and was able to get a better picture of where I fit in the world outside Bethel. Thank you to everyone at Career Services for offering services to help with my resume and letter of intent. Career Services has played a major role in encouraging and supporting me throughout my college career, and especially in applying for Teach for America! Videotaping my practice interview at Career Services helped me gain better interviewing skills. I recently was offered a job with Teach for America and am grateful for the support I have gotten in the process from across Bethel’s campus: Career Services, professors, the Writing Center, and Student Life. Without your support, I would not have gotten the job. THANK YOU for the services you provide us!"

I wanted to let you know that I was offered a job yesterday!! .... I am so excited about this opportunity. It is so perfect in so many ways!  Thank you so much for meeting with me and giving me tips on my resume and on networking and job searching. It was very helpful and cleared up a lot of my frustration and confusion. I also totally appreciated the tips you gave for my application and resume to this position. It really was helpful not only to me understanding myself in this position more but also helping them get a clearer picture of who I was and what I brought to the table."

Thank you for all the advice and your willingness to help me out. I recently received a job offer with U.S. Energy Services. I know I got the job due to my connections through Bethel with a few current employees there. It's a testimony to networking!

The Career Services office has continually provided support for my job-search process. Through my meetings with the career counselors, I developed a clearer understanding of my strengths, passions, and notable experiences. The counselors helped me feel confident for my interviews, especially in relation to my personality and my faith. The MN Private School Job and Internship Fair was an incredibly helpful tool, and I'm grateful that the Career Services Office is dedicated to guiding students through the fair. At the fair, I met my future employer, and I couldn't be more excited about beginning my first job.

I am indebted to Career Services for their support, and I highly recommend that students use this resource!

Meghann Burton was excited to share that she will be a program developer for the Holleran Center for Community Engagement / SRYI (South Reading Youth Initiative) in Pennsylvania. This program is a competitive opportunity offered through Americorps. She shared that the Office of Career Services helped her make specific strategic connections that led her to this exciting position.”

In all the excitement of the last week, I forgot to tell you how the interview went. The interview on Monday went very well. The ESL director and the principal said I did a great job interviewing. They called me that evening saying that I was one of the top candidates and wanted to confirm that I would accept the position if they offered it to me. This evening they called formally offering me the job (which I gladly accepted).

Thank you so much for your help throughout this whole process! The practice interview especially gave me the guidance and the confidence I needed. - email from Tim Leverentz

I just wanted to thank you beyond words for all your loving support, encouragement, and wisdom. You were truly a gift during this season of transition.

I am also so happy to tell you that I have finally come to a decision. As of Monday I will be working with the Lovaas Institute as behavioral therapist for children with autism and also enrolling in one graduate course to MHP qualifications.

I feel very blessed by this opportunity and praise God for all the incredible people that supported me thus far.  - email from Jeana Letourneau
