Gail Olson

Role: Head Teacher and Preschool 1 Lead Teacher
Education:
I earned my B.A. in English Literature in 1992 from Bethel and went
back to Bethel in 1998 to get my teaching license in elementary
education with a middle school endorsement in life science, language
arts, and social studies.
I have also completed all of the coursework and national tests to add a pre-primary specialty to my teaching license.
Experience: I am currently the head teacher and the lead teacher in the Pre-1 classroom with the younger preschoolers at the King CDC.
Prior
to coming to the King CDC, I had the opportunity to live and teach in
both Japan (English as a second language to middle schoolers and high
schoolers for three years) and Slovakia (English and life science to
first through ninth graders for two and a half years). I have had the
pleasure of teaching at the King CDC for the past four and a half
years.
For Fun: I love camping, hiking, biking, anything to do with the outdoors (especially animals, insects, and plants) and reading!
