Dining at Bethel University

Sodexo is the exclusive on-campus dining services and catering provider for Bethel University. Sodexo provides delicious meals with a wide variety of salad, entrée, beverage, and dessert choices. Sodexo also offers excellent menu ideas for reception and meeting refreshments. Monson Dining Center

Opened in 2009, the Monson Dining Center is the main venue for campus dining. It offers guests a beautiful setting for cafeteria-style, all-you-can-eat dining. Pricing is based on group size, and a minimum meal count guarantee is required. The dining services staff can also provide picnics, cookouts, and boxed meals and will customize service times to match your schedule.

Royal Grounds

Our campus coffee shop, Royal Grounds, is centrally located for easy grab-and-go access. Its menu includes fresh-baked bagels and pastry items, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, good-for-you snacks, and Minnesota's own Caribou Coffee and specialty drinks.

Dining Policies

1. Sodexo is the exclusive on-campus food service provider for Bethel’s St. Paul campus and daily provides both excellent food and food safety to our community and guests. All campus events must use Sodexo services for any and all food needs. Third-party catering is prohibited unless specifically approved by the Office of Campus Services.  
2. Off-campus food is prohibited in Bethel classrooms, sports facilities, academic buildings, worship centers, and conference rooms.
3. A guest count is required to obtain a cost estimate for dining center meals and/or catering services.
4. As a Bethel University rental client, it is your responsibility to update Sodexo and Conference Services if your guest count changes. You will be charged according to the number of guests stated on your estimate or the number of actual meals consumed, whichever is higher, unless you update Sodexo and Conference Services with a new guest count at least 10 days prior to your event.
5. You must cancel any dining or catering function at least 10 days in advance, or you will be billed for the event as if it had occurred based on the number of guests given in the estimate.
6. Alcohol is not served and is prohibited on campus.
7. Children 2 years old and younger are not charged for meals in the Monson Dining Center.
