Phonathons - Student Callers

Our staff of student callers works tirelessly to reach alumni, parents, and friends throughout the academic school year. Along with making unique connections for Bethel, they learn important skills through their phonathon experience, including communications and relational skills vital to any career path they choose. Our callers represent an array of majors and backgrounds as diverse as those with whom they speak.

Students call Bethel community members from Memphis to Seattle and beyond, keeping Bethel’s database current and urging financial and prayer support. They act as an important connection between Bethel and its supporters, sometimes providing the only personal contact from Bethel each year. The most unique part of this job, however, comes after they hang up for the night when each caller then takes the time to pray for those with whom he or she has talked.
