Give to Athletics

Royal Stadium Club Business Class

Who participates?

Beginning in 2000, athletic development staff created partnerships within both the private business and corporate worlds. A receptive business community responded with contributions that made it possible for Bethel's spring sport athletes to travel south for serious collegiate competition in warmer climates.

Since then, the Royal Stadium Business Class has continued to grow with committed donors who share the vision of Bethel athletics. Each donor is recognized for his or her generous support by publishing their business name and logo in our numerous athletic media guides and on 6'X8' banners, which are displayed at the Royal Stadium Complex (football and soccer), and at Hargis Park (softball and baseball).

Why participate?

Contributions from businesses allow Bethel's baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis teams to take part in competitive experiences that develop leadership qualities.

By participating in athletics, young men and women are encouraged to grow in areas such as perseverance: they learn to work through challenges, setbacks, and struggles.

Donations make it possible for coaches to offer first-class teaching opportunities for Bethel's student-athletes. As members, participating businesses demonstrate an appreciation for the value of these life lessons.

How does my company get involved?

Currently, banners with corporate logos are on display in Royal Stadium and Hargis Park. We are excited to offer increased marketing opportunities for businesses and corporations to display such banners in Robertson Center, the Student Recreation Center, and the new home for our men's and women's hockey programs—the National Sports Center in Blaine. In addition, we are in the process of expanding opportunities for business and corporate marketing in our sports–specific media guides and on the web.

What has membership helped accomplish?

Our spring sports teams' trips to warm southern climates to participate in national  level competition are possible only because of the generous support of donor businesses. Likewise, many of our facilities expansions and upgrades are the result of donor businesses that share in Bethel's vision for first-class athletic training and competition environments.

During the past eight years, members of the Royal Stadium Club Business Class have provided more than $175,000 to our spring trips sponsorship program.
