We believe in Bethel because our lives have been intertwined with
Bethel from high school days to the present,” says Larry
Petersen C’62, S’66.
Larry and Lynne (Stapp) ’65 met when both were students at Bethel. “Bethel
graduates have been our pastors, our mentors, our friends. Bethel’s
faculty members have been models of Christian passion and commitment,” adds
Larry. “Our own education experience at Bethel was challenging,
yet rewarding. We have seen that the rigors of Bethel’s training
for our children have prepared them for service as Christian leaders
in their vocations and their churches.”
Larry, now retired, served in two pastorates and then transitioned to a career in senior care services. Lynne, who works part time as an endoscopy nurse, and Larry, a volunteer missions director at Edinbrook Church in Brooklyn Park, are members of Bethel’s President’s Club.
“We are delighted that Bethel continues to move forward as a leader in God’s kingdom work and will keep praying for this ‘house of God!’”
