Give to Bethel University
News for donors to bethel university

We give to Bethel because it has given us so much," says Chris
Wiens '93. "Bethel has not only provided a great education
for many in our family, but, for a few, it is a wonderful place to work.
Family is very important to us, and we feel that Bethel is family."
Chris and Amy (Kreibich '98) Wiens believe that their Bethel years set the foundation for their current lives and careers. "Amy and I both have wonderful memories of our time at Bethel and feel that our experience there greatly influenced who we are today," Chris says. "I had a great time playing football and loved the opportunity to compete, but it was Coach Johnson and my friends on the team who made it such an incredible experience. I was part of a football "family" that played for each other. Because of that, I feel I have a better attitude and approach to work and home life." Chris' experience prompts the Wiens to contribute directly to Bethel's athletic program.
Chris' business degree has played an integral part in his current role as a vice president and national sales manager for Wells Fargo Foreign Exchange Services. Amy is a nurse anesthetist with United Hospital.
"I am very fortunate to work for a solid company like Wells Fargo," reflects Chris, "but things may have been different if it weren't for a Bethel professor who introduced me to a contact at Norwest/Wells Fargo who was also a Bethel graduate. With encouragement from my dad, I took a job there during my senior year. Fifteen years later, I am still here and have definitely benefited from the company's success."
Chris adds, "Because of these things, we believe in Bethel. We give to Bethel to say thank you and to support others who attend Bethel so they may have the same wonderful experiences and memories."
