Vi Bergquist: A Passion for Education
A gifted teacher of foreign languages, Vi Bergquist has a passion for Christian higher education. In response to the rising costs of tuition and books, she has established scholarships to Bethel and other Christian colleges she believes in.
Numerous gift annuities with Bethel provide regular payments for her now, and will eventually help fund the scholarship she created. In addition, Vi will add to that scholarship fund at her death through a provision in her will.
"It's so expensive to go to college now," Vi reflects. "It's a privilege to contribute to Bethel students through scholarships for those who will teach, or others who are going to the mission field."
