Comprehensive Resource Campaign

Gina and Bob Johnson
Sending vacation Bible school teachers to his tiny community in South Dakota, Bethel played an early role in Bob Johnson’s childhood. He grew up to become a trustee of Bethel, representing the Baptist General Conference during the school’s move to its present campus. He observed the earliest years of George Brushaber’s tenure as president.
Bob and his wife Gina have decided to be part of what they call the “Give to Live” plan, in which charitable gift annuities guarantee an income from the money given to Bethel for as long as the donors live. In the meantime, the principle adds to Bethel’s endowment.
“As I travel throughout the Baptist General Conference and other circles, I hear people say [about Bethel], ‘that’s a good school.’ Bethel’s staff and faculty have decided their values and stick to them.” He adds: “Find out where your dollar will do the most for God, then give.”
