The Bethel Foundation
The Bethel Foundation manages approximately 60 trusts and oversees Bethel’s endowment fund, which serves as the institution’s savings account. It provides unrestricted cash flows to Bethel, and trustees direct earnings from the fund to facilities, financial aid, programs, and faculty.
Recent focus on securing
the resources needed to construct the new college and seminary campuses
has limited its ability to build an endowment capable of providing
significant resources to support financial aid, academic programs, and
student formation. As the endowment emerges as a higher priority, the
foundation’s sound investment policies have been established to ensure
the long-term impact of endowment gifts.
