2007-2008 Activities
The Bethel Foundation made payments during 2007-08 to trustors and income beneficiaries in the amount of $832,743, and to other charities pursuant to trust agreements in the amount of $287,471. Payments to Bethel this past year from trust agreements total $474,155. This brings the total paid to Bethel from assets and earnings at the foundation since its inception to $24,589,060.
The total, in currently managed trust assets of $17,490,000, represents 57 separate accounts. Approximately 70 percent of this value is designated for Bethel upon conclusion of the trusts and may represent future endowments for Bethel University.
