Angella Hjelle

In her role as executive director, Hjelle oversees the management of the assets entrusted to the Bethel Foundation, works closely with the Board of Governors, and collaborates with the Office of Development. As corporate counsel, Hjelle provides advice regarding nonprofit corporate issues, as well as counsel for estate planning. Hjelle joined the foundation in 1991, became controller in 1993, and became executive director and corporate counsel in 2002.

As controller, Stroud maintains all financial and accounting records, preparing reports for auditors, trustors, and the Internal Revenue Service. Through reports and personal contact, he maintains professional relationships with individual trustors, investment managers, and legal counsel. Stroud joined the foundation staff in 2001 as trust administrator and became controller in 2002.
