Fellowship in Florida

More than 50 donors and friends gathered once again near Naples, Fla., and were introduced to President Jay and Barb Barnes.

Ron Tschetter, Bethel alumnus and current Bethel trustee, provided a brief report on his experience as executive director of the Peace Corps and challenged those present to consider Christ’s call to serve those in need.

Barnes also provided an encouraging update on the diverse ways Bethel students, faculty, and staff are part of the real-life fulfillment of Bethel’s mission of transforming lives. He referred to several recent letters and emails he’s received from various Bethel schools and departments; in them, people shared how Christ is working in and through Bethel.
