Spring Dessert Reception

President’s Club level and other donors gathered for the annual Classics in the Great Hall, this year called “Serenade to Spring,” on May 9. The concert featured the Bethel festival choir and orchestra, wind symphony, and student concerto-aria competition winners.

Following the concert, nearly 350 donors enjoyed a dessert reception in the new David E. and Mary Jo Monson Dining Center, along with President Jay and Barb Barnes. For many, this event marked the first opportunity to tour the Brushaber Commons, as well as chat with Jay and Barb about what’s ahead for Bethel.

“The night provided Bethel friends a chance to fellowship, enjoy good music, and see firsthand—through the excellent performance by Bethel’s student musicians and the experience of the Brushaber Commons—how their commitment and support is helping Bethel fulfill its mission,” says Bruce Anderson, vice president for development.
