Diane Bish has made a name for herself by packing concert halls, churches, and cathedrals for her organ recitals that are fun and interesting for audiences of all musical tastes and ages. Diane is best known as the host of the international television series, "The Joy of Music." The concert is free; no tickets required.

For the Mind, Body, and Soul: Dead Sea Scrolls Event in Kansas City

Saturday, April 14; 11 a.m. lunch, 12:45 p.m. exhibit tour; Union Station Kansas City, 30 West Pershing Road, Kansas City, Mo.

Mind: Hear from Bethel Seminary Professor Dan Gurtner, Ph.D., about the history and significance of the Dead Sea Scrolls to our Christian faith. Body: Lunch provided and hosted by Ralph Gustafson, Bethel University vice president for constituent relations. Soul: View the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit (six original scrolls never before on display anywhere in the world). Classically trained as a pianist but also steeped in the Hispanic tradition of his New Mexico homeland, gospel singer/songwriter Fernando Ortega has been part of a Christian musical renaissance that saw a variety of musical traditions entering the liturgies of mainline churches.
