Bethel University's College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for an Associated Faculty appointment in the Department of Human Kinetics and Applied Health Science, with responsibilities in our Health Education 5-12 major and Community Health minor. Position open fall 2014.
Teach up to 23.7 TEU’s per academic year, including student teacher supervision. General faculty responsibilities include involvement in the activities of the department. The position also includes advising and program development for the health education major.
Licensed teacher in Health Education, grades 5-12. The ideal candidate should have university-level teaching experience as well as Health Education, grades 5-12 teaching experience. Candidate should also have a record of program development in the area of Health Education.
Doctorate in Health Education (ABD candidates considered).
Candidate must be committed to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University and demonstrate commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring students, and scholarship. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to contribute to Bethel’s anti-racism efforts and cross-cultural understanding.
Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
