Job Summary
Adjunct Professor position in the new Master of Science in Physician Assistant program. This teaching position would teach the second, third, and fourth term of the PA curriculum in careful coordination with the clinical medicine series in a systems-based approach (for example, when content in clinical medicine is addressing topics in cardiology, students will be working in small groups to discuss cases which are related to cardiology).
Responsibilities
- Group facilitator for three hours of problem-based learning per week (depending on term length) which covers a case of the related system.
- Outline and syllabi for all three courses have been developed. Facilitator would be working alongside other faculty for case development.
- Course sequence will begin August 2013.
Required Experience
- Higher education teaching experience.
- Commitment and agreement with Bethel's statement of faith and covenant.
Required Education
Master's degree in clinically-related field (doctorate preferred).

Bethel University's M.S. Physician Assistant program (PA) has applied for provisional accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The PA program anticipates matriculating its first class in June 2013, pending provisional accreditation in March 2013 at the ARC-PA meeting. If ARC-PA does not award provisional accreditation, the program will not begin in June 2013.
