Job Summary

Faculty in the Department of Psychology. Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.


Teach the equivalent of a full seven-course load. This could include some combination of the following: Introduction to Statistics, Lifespan Development, Abnormal Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, or Senior Seminar. No academic advising or committee assignments required.

Required Skills

Ability to teach statistics or research methods courses would be significant assets. Candidate must be committed to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University and demonstrate commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring students in their research projects, and maintaining an active program of scholarly research. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to contribute to Bethel’s anti-racism efforts and cross-cultural understanding.

Required Education

Ph.D. or ABD preferred.
