Event Description
Two Rivers Chorale (TRC) performs beloved choral musical selections that are rarely performed together in a program of great variety and contrasts. Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein are among our collective American 20th century musical treasures. Copland’s settings of traditional beloved American hymns and folk songs are innovative and wonderful; add to that three signature songs by The Beatles and this program swells with dance rhythms and artistic whimsy. The choral music melds together with several rarely performed solo piano selections to create a delightful immersion experience into distinctively American musical culture. A compelling aural treat, made in America!
