Appeal Form

Students and families who experience unusual and non-discretionary financial challenges may use an appeal form to document their unique situation. The financial aid office will use the information you provide to reconsider the student's need and financial aid package.

Costs and Financial Aid Brochure

This brochure describes financial aid programs, college costs, payment options, and awarding philosophies.

Financial Aid Application

Priority deadline is April 15 for the academic year beginning in September.

Financial Aid Estimate Form

This online form is designed for dependent students who plan to begin college in the fall of 2009. This estimate form is only available from September 15, 2009 through February 2010.

Financial Aid Handbook

Students receive this publication with their Financial Aid Award letter. It provides detailed information on costs, grants, and loans.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the web

All students applying for need-based grants and scholarships or student loans must complete the FAFSA. The Bethel University FAFSA # is 002338.

Loan Request Form

Students and parents may use these forms to authorize loans not previously requested on the Financial Aid Loan Response Form received with their Financial Aid Award Letter.

Parent PLUS Loan Credit Check Authorization

Parents who have adverse credit history and expect to be denied, may use this form to request a Direct PLUS Loan credit check.  

Partnership Program Handbook

Students receiving a scholarship from their church may be eligible for a Partnership Matching Grant of up to $1,000 per year ($500 per semester). Churches must submit the Partnership Agreement Form and the scholarship funds for the entire year by August 1 to qualify for the matching grant. This handbook should be used by the church to apply for Partnership Matching Grant funds.

Tuition Benefit Request Form

Current Bethel University employees may apply for a tuition benefit.

Verification Worksheet

Students who have been selected for verification by the Department of Education (or used estimated income data on the FAFSA) should complete and submit the appropriate Verification Worksheet along with signed federal tax forms to the financial aid office.
