Doctor of Ministry Program

Due to the unique nature of Bethel Seminary's Doctor of Ministry program, we are unable to offer Stafford student loans to students in this program.  Doctor of Ministry students who need to borrow funds for their studies have the option of borrowing a private loan.

If you would like to borrow a private loan, please visit the Private Loan webpage on our website for more information.  The interest rate on private loans is variable and subject to change.  If you choose to borrow a private loan, please contact our office after you have made application with the lender.  Send an email to finaid@bethel.edu.  Please give your name and student ID number.  State the type of loan you have applied for and the amount.  Having this information will allow Bethel to certify the loan on your behalf.

Institutional grants are available to Seminary students only at the Masters level.  Bethel Seminary has a very limited number of scholarships for Doctor of Ministry students.  Due to the limited availability, these scholarships are reserved for students currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program.  Once you are enrolled as a Doctor of Ministry student, you will have the opportunity to apply for these scholarships each spring.

Are you a current Doctor of Ministry student wishing to apply for a scholarship?  The online application is only available from early-March to mid-April.
