Student Employment

Seminary Student Employment FAQs

What kinds of jobs are available?

Students can work in many areas of the Bethel University St. Paul campus (e.g., library, facilities management, security, teaching assistants).

How do I find a job?

It is the student's responsibility to find on-campus employment. An online job listing of current on-campus student employment openings is available to help students locate on-campus employment. Students seeking off-campus jobs may visit the online Career Services off-campus employment opportunities listing.

How am I paid?

Students are paid every other week.  (See the payroll schedule for specific dates.)

What documents do I need?

You will need to bring either (a) your driver's license AND your original social security card OR (b) your passport to complete an I-9 Form (required for all employees).  You also must complete a W-4 Form and an employment agreement form BEFORE beginning work.
