Office of Financial Aid
Students can work in many areas of the Bethel University St. Paul campus (e.g., library, facilities management, security, teaching assistants).
It is the student's responsibility to find on-campus employment. An online job listing of current on-campus student employment openings is available to help students locate on-campus employment. Students seeking off-campus jobs may visit the online Career Services off-campus employment opportunities listing.
You will need to bring either (a) your driver's license AND
your original social security card OR (b) your passport to complete an
I-9 Form (required for all employees). You also must complete a W-4
Form BEFORE beginning work.
Students are paid by a check placed in their PO boxes or by direct deposit each two-week pay period. (See the payroll schedule for specific dates.) Students interested in direct deposit should contact the Business Office. Currently one-third of the student worker population receives payment by direct deposit.
We encourage all students to set up direct deposit to receive their paycheck. Funds are deposited into their bank account on the actual payday. Complete and submit to the Business office a Student Direct Deposit Form along with a voided check. Contact the Business Office with any questions about this procedure.
