Exhibition Description:

An exhibit , titled Scratch & Sniff: Smells Like Art! will open April 9 at Bethel’s Johnson Gallery. This exhibition features works by seniors in Bethel University’s Department of Art in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, installation, ceramics, digital media, and more.

Student artwork will also be featured during Art-a-Whirl from May 14-16. Art-a-Whirl is presented by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association (NEMAA), and is the largest open studio and gallery tour in the United States. This annual event welcomes local and regional visitors to the Northeast Minneapolis art district to see the art being made in this area and meet the artists.

This exhibit features the work of Bethel senior Steven “Chip” Addington, Rachel Andrzejewski, Haley Barrett, Caroline Belcher, Rose Berglund, Alexander Bussey, Jonathon Fosse, Madelynn Furlong, Erin Gilliland, Chelsea Greiling, Caylon Hackwith, Sofia Meyer, Kristi Miller, Lyndsey Myers, Mason Norberg, Marissa Perez, Emily Perrel, Esther Porta, Brittany Reedstrom, Esther Ringsmuth, Megan Sahlstrom, Jeremiah Satterthwaite, Cori Steppe, Beth Tokar, Nancy Walters, and Marylyn Zubert.
