College of Adult & Professional Studies and Graduate School Faculty Employment Opportunities

Bethel University College of Adult and Professional Studies and Graduate School is looking for adjunct faculty to teach in the following areas:

  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Mathematics
  • Operations Management
  • Business Communications
  • Human Resource Management
  • HRIS (Information Technology in Human Resources)
  • Compensation
  • Benefits

While a PhD or DBA is preferred, qualified candidates will have at minimum a master’s degree with substantial experience in the field of expertise. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience including experience in online learning environments.

Adjuncts are also needed in the Arrowhead region. Please state on your cover letter what area you would be interested in teaching.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess an advanced graduate degree (usually demonstrated by a doctorate or MBA), have significant leadership experience in business, and have above average management capability. An understanding of and a familiarity with adult education, accelerated degree completion and graduate programs. Experience in business agencies and organizations and an understanding of how to translate that experience into quality educational curriculum and programs. Successful teaching and educational program management experience, preferably with an adult student population, and above average strengths in instructional design and technology. Candidates must be strongly committed to the adult educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the college and have the ability to contribute to cultural diversity on campus and interface with the corporate/business community.

Responsibilities:

Full-time faculty position with extensive leadership responsibility in CAPS/GS MBA program and a member of a business faculty team charged with the responsibility of leadership and teaching in undergraduate adult programs in Business Management and Human Resource Management. Faculty assignment of load will seek, as much as possible, to recognize the strengths of each member of the Business faculty team.

Compensation:

Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
