Athletic Graduate Assistant Coach

The Department of Athletics is seeking an individual to serve a graduate assistant coach to assist a head coach in all facets of our NCAA Division III athletic program, including but not limited to: recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, administrative duties, scouting of opponents, travel, and the overall physical and spiritual development of student athletes. The GA is also expected to fully comply with NCAA and MIAC rules and regulations. Qualified individuals will be eligible to serve as a graduate assistant coach for any of the following programs:

The College of Adult & Professional Studies/Graduate School (CAPS/GS) Admissions Office is seeking an individual to ensure accuracy and perform data entry of CAPS/GS Admissions data. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: responsible for data entry on the student information system of private student information; resolve inconsistencies and review data for errors, ensuring accurate data for admissions decisions; prepare complete pre-decision files for admissions decisions; prepare and sort source documents, identify and interpret data to be entered; contact originator of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data; and perform all required data entry updates for post-decision files on student information system. Learner Success Advisor (located at Red Fox Site in Arden Hills, MN)

The Learner Success team, a learner-advising unit of the College of Adult & Professional Studies and Graduate School, is seeking an individual to serve as a fellow Learner Success Advisor. Key functions include:

• Holds primary advising responsibility (in both academic and co-curricular domains) for learners within a specified group of degree programs, and provides general support for all programs
• Cultivates substantive relationships with learners in a manner that allows for their continued success and support. Serves as a first point of contact for matters of learner concern, and connects at-risk learners with manager and other appropriate staff and provides well-researched recommendations to ensure appropriate support
• Partners with the Registrar’s Office to ensure adherence to academic policy, organizes and maintains accurate student records, and facilitates timely completion of grading and completion information for capstone, portfolio and thesis courses
• Verifies academic records and ensures that students fulfill academic requirements for graduation. Works collaboratively with university faculty and personnel to ensure accurate listing for commencement participation
• Develops and administers personalized means of recognizing student achievement. Plans and implements both proactive and reactive strategies to assist or re-engage learners as needed, and provides timely interventions and resolution to retention concerns
• Compiles and organizes data in ERP-based tracking systems to ensure accurate tracking of interaction, success and retention measures

Requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with a preference given to those with a degree in student affairs, professional development, counseling, therapy or a related human relations field. Master’s degree preferred.

A successful candidate will have three to four years of progressively responsible experience, with a proven record of quality work. A proven record within an academic setting is strongly desired.
