Admissions Coordinator

The Admissions Office for the College of Adult and Professional Studies/Graduate School (CAPS/GS) is seeking an individual to serve as primary telephone and front-desk receptionist. Advises first-time callers regarding CAPS/GS programs, communicates admission information clearly and accurately, and solicits pertinent information to aid in the admission process. Manages admissions data in Banner and AdmitGold (GoldMine) databases. Coordinates registrations for open-enrollment courses. Provides administrative support for the Director of Admissions and the Admissions Team. Requires completion of two years of post high school training and two to three years of related experience, preferably in a higher education setting. Director, Technical Web Services

Salary Grade 12, Salary commensurate with experience, FT, exempt

Information Technology Services is seeking an individual to provide strategic vision for the University’s growing web presence by understanding the marketplace and developing services to meet customer needs; manage and mentor a team of developers and provide leadership and direction for the team; gather new ideas for web services by understanding the higher education community while actively consulting with departments across the University; cooperate with other ITS teams in providing appropriate technology resources to Bethel departments and community members; and provide project management for web related projects across the University. Duties include but are not limited to: directing the maintenance and continuing development of Bethel’s web applications and supporting infrastructure; partnering with the Director of Electronic Communications in the Office of Communications and Marketing to deliver solutions to offices and departments seeking web site designs; creating specifications for reusable web components and advanced web applications that integrate with Bethel’s web templates, content management system, and web portal, which will be delivered to offices and departments as part of web site redesigns; participate in the ECC governing subcommittee to identify, discuss and propose solutions for web-related issues, define policy and strategic planning; and cover some of the Web Services team’s technical responsibilities as appropriate. Requires BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience is required, Masters is preferred. 1-2 years experience in web administration/application design/management is required as well as management skills and abilities to lead a team. Portal Coordinator

The Office of Communications & Marketing is seeking an individual to work collaboratively with the Web Services team members, composed of staff members from Communications and Marketing and Information Technology Services, to ensure the quality and consistency of the Bethel portal. Under the direction of the Director of Electronic Communications and the Director of Technical Web Services, the Portal Coordinator is responsible for leading the vision for the portal; managing projects and upgrading the grow of the portal; evaluating end-user needs; ensuring that the portal serves the needs of end-users and assisting content owners in their efforts to provide timely, relevant content. This position will report to the Director of Electronic Communications with a dot line reporting relationship to the Director of Technical Web Services. A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, or English or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and hands-on training is required. Demonstrated writing experience, including publication of online content; or working in new media or Web-based project and internal/corporate communications is required. General understanding of web design, usability and basic knowledge of HTML preferred. A willingness to learn new concepts especially the Silva web content management system is also preferred. Assistant LAN/WAN Integrator

Salary grade 11, Salary commensurate with experience, FT, 12 months, exempt

Information Technology Services is seeking an individual to serve as an Assistant LAN/WAN Integrator working on a Network Services team, responsible for the operation of the university network. Up to 70% of time will include management of network monitoring and notification system, management of network level services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, management and deployment of network equipment, physical cabling moves, adds, changes, troubleshooting of cabling, network equipment and protocols. The balance of time will be project work to develop services and solutions for the institution's computing network. Position requires knowledge equivalent to that gained through a baccalaureate degree in computer science and three years of experience in a technical position requiring both networking and system-security responsibilities. Carpenter/Maintenance Specialist

Salary Grade 8, Salary commensurate with experience, FT, 12 months, nonexempt

Facilities Management is seeking an individual for carpentry maintenance and repairs and general maintenance duties. Duties include, but are not limited to, rough framing; finish carpentry; furniture repair; door installation and repair; maintenance shop inventory and machinery maintenance; assists with supervision of summer student workers. This individual will carry an on-call pager according to department schedule. The carpenter/maintenance specialist is considered essential personnel and must be available to support contingency operations such as snow removal or support of special events. Data Integrity Specialist

Salary Grade 8, Salary 13.00 hour, Temporary, non-exempt, no benefits

Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Donor Communications, this temporary position will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and coordination of an aggressive data integrity program that will focus on maintaining accurate constituent records.
• Work closely with student workers who assist with data updates.
• Working within the data mainframe, update constituent records as needed in keeping with established policies and procedures. This would include: processing duplicate records; updating addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, etc; entering event attendance; managing discrepancy reports; creating new ID records.
• Participate as needed in data cleanup resulting from the recent Banner implementation.
• Assist office staff through cross training, as needed, in support of Banner development processes.

Dean, Bethel Seminary

Bethel Seminary is seeking a Dean responsible to provide academic oversight of the St. Paul campus of Bethel Seminary. The Dean will seek to accomplish the educational vision of Bethel Seminary by advancing the commitment to integration between the three centers and contextualization within the diverse cultures of the world. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing leadership to guide the on-going development of a robust, vital, biblically authentic, historically informed theological enterprise, embodying high levels of scholarship and teaching effectiveness; providing faculty nurture, oversight, teaching load oversight, and faculty development opportunities and resources as needed; and serving as chair of search advisory committees to seek faculty replacements or to fill new faculty positions. Nursing Lab Assistant

Salary Grade 10, Hourly range $15.50 - $17.50, PT, 12 hours/week, 9 months (September 1 – May 31)

The Nursing Department is seeking an individual to assist the Nursing Lab Coordinator in working with the students and faculty in the skills lab with technology, simulation, and student practice. Operating Systems Analyst

Information Technology Services is seeking an experienced individual with expertise managing Microsoft Windows Server and related infrastructure. Job responsibilities include Microsoft Windows Server installation, configuration and maintenance, design and management of an Active Directory environment, and operation of the institution’s Exchange messaging system. Print Services is seeking an individual to provide printing, copying, and binding services to the Bethel community by processing print job requests and maintaining department workflow. Seminary Admissions and Recruitment is seeking an individual to be responsible for recruiting students for the Master of Arts in Children’s and Family Ministry (MACFM) program through the In-Ministry program distance delivery system. Theatre Production Manager

The Theatre department is seeking an individual to supervise theatre facilities and equipment and oversee operations.
