Adding a TA (or co-instructor) to your Blackboard Course
To add a TA to your Blackboard Course:
1. Go to the control panel of the course to which you wish to add a TA.
2. Select Enroll User from the User Management Area:
4.Then type your TA's last name and click the Search button(if it is a common last name, you might want to use their user name, but be sure to check the user name choice)
5. Check the checkbox to the left of your TA's name and click the Submit button.


6. Now that your TA is added to your course (as a student), you change their User status to a TA. You do this by clicking on the List/Modify Users linkin the User Management area of the control panel. Find your TA as you did above.
7.Click on the Properties button to the right of your TA's name etc.
8. Then you must modify the Role from Student to Teacher's Assistant (same as instructor), Grader (access to grades only), or Course Builder (can modify the course, but cannot access grades). Be sure to click the Submit button after checking your choice.
Note: You can add your co-instructors in this same fashion, but you set their role as Instructor.
