Save Feature in Blackboard Discussion Board

When adding a thread to a forum in the discussion board and attempting to save a draft of the thread to return to later, the thread will not be initially visible.

We do not recommend saving drafts as shown because saved threads have been lost before. You can copy/save your thread text to a word document to finish later (that would be a more reliable method).  However, if you do save, you may be able to retrieve your work by the following steps.
Once you click save your thread will not show up automatically so go to the display box at the top left corner and select show all in the drop down menu, then press the go button to the right of the menu.
Notice that the thread now appears as a draft along with the regular threads.
