Logistics for Pre-Approving IT Equipment Purchases by Bethel
Equipment includes but is not limited to computers, peripherals, scanners, software, printers, PDA's, phones, and copiers.
An ITS incident number and approval is required to purchase equipment that ITS will support or that will be installed on the network. Has an incident number been provided with the purchase requisition?
- If ‘yes’, process the purchase requisition and have the Purchasing Office put the incident number on the PO.
- If ‘no’, ITS is likely not aware of the purchase request.
- Please contact the Employee Help Desk at x6500 or an incident can be created directly at https://incidentbase.its.bethel.edu/useraccess/
- If the request is pressing, the urgency and deadline should be included in the incident.
- Please do not process the purchase request until an approval is granted or a recommendation has been given by ITS.
