Internet Connection Improves with Bethel's new Internet Router

For the first couple weeks of March, the Bethel computing community experienced Internet connection outages and slowness. Bethel's increasing appetite for Internet resources exceeded the capacity of Bethel's Internet connection router. Once the Network Services team isolated that Internet router was being overloaded, they ordered and installed a new Internet router with higher capacity to accommodate Bethel's current and expanding Internet usage.

How can you find out if there are system problems?

ITS has an online system status page to provide information for various ITS systems, including e-mail, Internet connection, and printers. You can check to see if a service that you are having problems with is a system wide problem or if it is an isolated problem with the computer that you are using.
