How to Determine Your Mac OS Version

Gaming Consoles, DVRs and Non-compatible 802.1x Devices

Internet Connection Sharing (or ICS) can be used to connect devices to the network that do not otherwise support 802.1x. Mac OS user's are unable to use ICS in an 802.1x environment at this time due to a issue with the software. If this changes in a future version of Mac OS the ITS Help Desk will update this guide to reflect that change.

ITS will also rent out routers that have been formatted to work with 802.1x. To inquire about the costs and availability please contact the Help Desk.
