Bethel Students Commended for “Doing Good”

Bethel students at the Minnesota State Fair as part of the Salvation Army "Shield Crew."

Bethel University students spent the final day of Welcome Week serving others. During the activity called "Branching Out," students partnered with a variety of different ministries in the Twin Cities area to perform acts of service.

One group of students joined the Salvation Army to play a game of "do-good" bingo. Students went to the Minnesota State Fair and as part of the game distributed water bottles, picked up trash, helped maneuver strollers through the crowds of fairgoers, and other similar activities.
