For one student, the thought of life without the pasta line is somewhat alarming
Billy Charles, a current freshman, proclaimed that he will definitely miss the DC food when he goes home this summer. Charles has become accustomed to going to the DC at least twice a day.
“I especially love the pasta line,” stated Charles. “You can get any kind of pasta you want! And you don’t have to do anything but watch!”
Charles is enjoying his college experience void of grocery responsibility.
“I am just happy that the hardest decision I have to make is what line to get in at the DC,” continued Charles.
Charles does not look forward to getting older and actually having to buy food and cook for himself.
“I don’t want to even think about getting older and owning my own kitchen,” commented Charles. “I want to eat in the DC forever and ever!”
Despite Charles’ mental instability concerning DC food, he does occasionally eat microwavable food such as macaroni and cheese, leftover pizza and TV dinners. However, these are rare, as Charles usually just uses his microwave to heat up leftover DC food he sneaks out in his pocket.
“I usually try to eat as much as I can so that I don’t need to take anything out from the DC, but I will admit that I have taken leftovers before,” said Charles.
Charles will not be on campus to enjoy the entrées of the DC this summer, but he looks forward to next fall, when he can indulge in the blessings of the DC once again.
